Essential, the company which has been founded by the co-founder of Android operating system, Andy Rubin launched their first smartphone earlier this year. The smartphone is named as the essential PH-1 also read as essential PH(one). The first flagship smartphone from the company is in the limelight for two reasons, first of all, because of it being headed by Andy Rubin and the other being that it has a special design. The essential PH-1 comes with a bezel-less display and the back of the phone consists of magnetic hinges through which we can attach accessories. This concept is the same as the one which Motorola implemented with its Moto Mods. The accessories from essential include a 360-degree cam and a lot more accessories are scheduled to come for the phone.
In terms of specifications of the essential PH-1, the smartphone has everything that is expected from a flagship smartphone launched in 2017. The essential PH-1 comes with a 5.71-inch display with a resolution of 1312 x 2560 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The essential PH-1 is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor which is the current flagship processor from the company this year. The smartphone has an Adreno 540 GPU for graphics as well. The smartphone is powered by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone also includes a dual cam setup on the back which is a 13MP + 13MP cam setup. On the front of the phone is an 8MP cam for better selfies.
In terms of the operating system, the smartphone comes powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the battery capacity on the smartphone comes down to 3040 mAh which is capable of enduring a full day on regular usage.

Essential launched the essential PH-1 earlier this year and the smartphone has been available available for sale in the US. The availability of the smartphone is not confirmed in the other parts as essential has not revealed any details about the launch of its smartphone in other markets.
